New work for solo B♭ clarinet
Dear clarinetist friends! I’m happy to present my new work for solo B♭ clarinet, “Shchedryk Bells”, composed as a tribute to Mykola Leontovych and commissioned by the renowned Spanish clarinetist Manuel Martínez. It is a playful musical fantasy inspired by Christmas tunes from Ukraine and beyond… Just imagine Shchedryk, Jingle Bells, and Saint Nicholas throwing a party - with George Gershwin himself at the piano!
When Manuel shared his idea of creating a collection of solo clarinet pieces, each conceived as a musical tribute to one of the great composers of the world, I immediately agreed with enthusiasm. And I didn’t have to think long about whom my own tribute should honor - because there is a Ukrainian composer whose melody is known to people all over the globe. That melody is the legendary “Shchedryk,” also widely known as “Carol of the Bells,” composed by the outstanding Ukrainian choral composer Mykola Leontovych. It is especially symbolic that Manuel is presenting this project now, on the eve of the Christmas season and almost on Leontovych’s birthday.
In this piece, I wanted to create something bright, witty, and virtuosic - music that highlights the performer’s mastery while bringing joy and positive energy to the audience. “Shchedryk Bells” works wonderfully as an encore - a final spark at the end of a concert, usually followed by especially enthusiastic applause. It is a true holiday mash-up, full of humor, brilliant virtuosity, and familiar melodies.
And did you know that George Gershwin’s father was an immigrant from Odesa, Ukraine? So yes - there is a bit of jazz in this music, along with a pinch of varenyky and borshch! And of course, in this warm company there is also me - a representative of Ukrainian culture: bright, strong, and rich in many voices. So - smiles to you all, and may you enjoy every moment!

Beautiful performance of my choral work "Svitla mama Mariya" ("Luminous Mother Mary")!
My very special and warm thanks go to the Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir and their conductor Eric Tuan for the incredibly beautiful, sincere, and deeply moving performance of my choral work "Svitla mama Mariya" ("Luminous Mother Mary")!
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my dearest Marika Kuzma, the initiator and organizer of the beautiful and deeply meaningful project "Carols of Birds, Bells, and Peace from Ukraine: A Holiday Celebration", which took place on December 13, 2025, in the renowned Zellerbach Hall, Berkeley, California, USA. Details at the link.
This Christmas concert became a true celebration of Ukrainian music - a celebration of peace, light, and hope that resonated far beyond Ukraine, yet carried a profound sense of home. The project was realized with the participation of the Ensemble Cherubim chamber chorus, conducted by Marika Kuzma - an American of Ukrainian descent, a distinguished choral conductor and musicologist, who for many years has been doing truly monumental work to promote Ukrainian culture around the world. Her dedication, professionalism, and deep love for Ukraine were felt in every moment of this concert. It is a great honor for me to be part of such a project.
My very special and warm thanks go to the Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir and their conductor Eric Tuan for the incredibly beautiful, sincere, and deeply moving performance of my choral work "Svitla mama Mariya" ("Luminous Mother Mary") to text by Vitalii Blyzniuk for treble (children) choir a cappella. This performance was filled with light, purity, and profound inner truth. Listening to it, I felt not just music - I felt a prayer, trust, childlike sincerity, and a powerful sense of unity. This is exactly how I dreamed this piece would sound.
I will be happy to share a video recording of the performance via a link on my YouTube channel - I truly wish to share this light with everyone.
My deepest gratitude to all who were involved in this concert, and to everyone who, through music, helps Ukrainian culture be heard in the world - with dignity, strength, and authenticity.
Friends, I am happy to share some special news with you!
Over the past weeks, I have been working on a new and truly meaningful project - the creation of a memorial website dedicated to Maestro Bohodar Kotorovych, the legendary Ukrainian violinist, conductor, and educator. Today, I am delighted to share the result with you: https://bohodarkotorovych.com/
Creating this website was far more than a task for me as a web designer - it became a deep and profoundly moving immersion into the life, artistry, and legacy of the Maestro.

A post of pure composer’s happiness))
An incredibly touching and thrilling surprise for me was an email I received personally from one of the most outstanding conductors of our time - Maestro Kent Nagano! For the second time, Maestro has included my work “Trisagion” in his concert programs.
For the first time under his baton, the piece was performed twice this February at two completely sold-out concerts in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. And just recently - on November 7 and 8 - “Trisagion” was performed again at the concerts of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (DSO Berlin) in the Berlin Philharmonie.
I am deeply grateful to Maestro Nagano for his message and for all the warm words he expressed about my music!
My heartfelt thanks also go to all the musicians who took part in these performances. These memories will stay in my heart forever.
Our heartfelt thanks to "Vista Alegre" magazine
for their warm review of the masterclass and concert that Yurii Kot and I had the honour of giving on November 17, in celebration of Saint Cecilia - the patron saint of music and musicians - at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música “Francisco Casanovas” de Torrevieja.
We sincerely thank everyone involved in making these events possible - your support and dedication made it happen.
You can watch the video recording of our concert at this link.
“The Art of the Piano Duo: With Seriousness and With Joy.”
This Monday, 17 November, together with pianist Yurii Kot, we had the pleasure and the honor of giving a masterclass and a piano duo concert at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Torrevieja, on the occasion of Saint Cecilia’s Day, the patron saint of music.
Our event was titled:“The Art of the Piano Duo: With Seriousness and With Joy.” The masterclass was attended by students and professors of the conservatory who are interested in this form of piano performance. For Yurii and me, it was a true pleasure to highlight the high artistic level of all the students who participated in the masterclass, as well as the excellent pedagogical work carried out by their teachers, Mrs. Nataliya Khomyak and Mrs. Maia Chkhartishvili.
We concluded the evening with our piano duo concert.
We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the City Council of Torrevieja, to Mr. Antonio Quesada Hurtado, Councilor for Culture, to Mr. Manuel Esteban Moreno Viudes, Cultural Affairs Technician, and to the Director of the Conservatory, Mrs. Maria Ortigosa Huertas, for offering us this wonderful opportunity for artistic connection and exchange.
A very special thanks goes to the Gaceta de Información General de la ciudad de Torrevieja “Objetivo Torrevieja”, for the extensive article filled with warmth and admiration dedicated to our masterclass and concert. Detales at the link.
Our gratitude also extends to our dear colleagues - the professors of the conservatory - and to all the listeners who attended the concert, giving us an incredibly warm reception and supporting us with enthusiastic applause.
And a huge thank you to everyone who prepared the delicious sweet table, both for us and for all the participants of the event. Thank you, dear friends!
My interview for Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Berlin’s National Radio.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Berlin’s National Radio www.deutschlandfunkkultur.de, and especially to radio journalist Olga Hochweis for the invitation to present a creative radio portrait about me during the intermission of the concerts by the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin on November 7 and 8, where my piece “Trisagion” will be performed by the children’s choirs „Mädchenchor der Sing-Akademie zu Berlin” and „Knaben des Staats- und Domchores Berlin“.
The concert will be conducted by Maestro Kent Nagano.
I am deeply grateful to Maestro Kent Nagano, who will conduct this work of mine for the second time. The piece was first performed under his baton at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, and now it will be heard in the Berlin Philharmonic as well.
I would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Harvestehuder Chamber Women’s Choir, as well as to the choirs „Mädchenchor der Sing-Akademie zu Berlin” and „Knaben des Staats- und Domchores Berlin“, whose performances bring my music to German audiences.
Today, I had a thirty-minute conversation with Olga Hochweis, in which we discussed many things. But to me, the most important topic was the role of the artist during wartime. I firmly believe that the mission of every Ukrainian composer - and my personal mission as a composer - is to introduce the world to Ukrainian culture and to support the spirit of Ukrainians through music in our fight against the aggressor. Ukrainian music, and Ukrainian culture as a whole, are priceless treasures - treasures we are proud of, and treasures we have a responsibility to share with the world.
With every new composition, with every performance, I try to shout to the world: we must unite to stop Russia’s mass murder of Ukrainians on our own land. The world must understand - if Putin is not stopped, he will not stop. He will go as far as he is allowed to go.
We are extremely grateful to the countries that have already provided assistance. But much more support is needed - so that we can win and protect other European nations from a war that could reach their soil tomorrow. Ukrainians are a free people. We are ready to fight for our independence - and we know how to fight.
I warmly invite the people of Berlin and all guests of the city to attend these concerts. More information available at the following link.

I sincerely thank Ms. Dzvenyslava Safian for her review of my works in her article "The Mass of Peace", dedicated to the choral concerts of the Pavlo Chubinsky Popular Capella Choir, which were united under the title "Dialogue of Cultures: Ukraine - Baltics - Scandinavia - Great Britain" at the following link.

Recently, I had the great pleasure of arranging a romance by Sich Rifleman and poet-songwriter Roman Kupchynskyi!
"Girl, for your beautiful eyes" - I created this arrangement at the request of Ms. Khrystyna Musiy for a very meaningful event held in Chicago, USA.
It was an evening of Glory to the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen titled “For Ukraine, for Her Freedom!” - lovingly and gratefully organized by a dedicated team of Ukrainian patriots and like-minded individuals.
Everyone present that evening journeyed through time to experience the legendary courage, priceless musical heritage, and everyday lives of the brave and talented Ukrainian Sich Riflemen - ordinary Ukrainian men and women who, over a century ago, lived, fought, and created during a time of immense historical challenge.
How strikingly modern and close to our own their dreams and aspirations were!
My arrangement was performed by the exceptionally gifted artists - baritone Mykola Yanytskyi of the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and pianist Natalka Kuryliak. I am sincerely grateful to them for their heartfelt interpretation!
Special thanks to Ms. Khrystyna Musiy for the opportunity to take part in such a beautiful and heartfelt event, and also for the video recording of my arrangement.
I am happy to share it with you, dear friends!

Today marks the 80th birthday of an Extraordinary Person, a Brilliant Choral Conductor, and simply my favorite woman!
Halyna Lukivna Horbatenko - she is the living embodiment of all my dreams as a composer! Her artistry is a priceless treasure for Ukraine and for Ukrainian culture on a global scale. Her witty remarks during rehearsals are passed from mouth to mouth and written down by young conductors as golden lessons.
Working with her is both incredibly challenging and incredibly easy — because she is Real. She puts her whole soul into what she does, and it's impossible not to want to live up to her standard.
Thanks to Halyna Lukivna, many of my choral works for women’s voices found their path to audiences — and it was precisely with her in mind that I composed them.
The war has changed all our lives, scattering us across the world. But I sincerely believe — and wish from the bottom of my heart — that Halyna Lukivna’s favorite “instrument,” which she masters so perfectly, will once again "sing" under her baton, igniting admiration and thunderous applause.
And I don’t know what Zarathustra once said, but in our time it is Halyna Lukivna who has spoken, and conducted!
With all my love and endless gratitude for our years of collaboration — I embrace you tightly and wish you many joyful and blessed years ahead!
Friends, you can find a YouTube playlist at this link featuring recordings of my compositions performed by the Treble Choir of the R. Glier Kyiv Institute of Music, conducted by Halyna Lukivna Horbatenko.

Diptych "Songs without Words" for mixed choir a cappella.
Another incredibly beautiful performance of my work by the People's Academic Choir Chapel named after Pavlo Chubynsky!
Diptych "Songs without Words" for mixed choir a cappella, performed as part of the Kyiv Music Premieres 2025 festival at the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine on April 26, 2025.Artistic director - Dmytro Radуk, conductor - Vitaliі Mulіar.
A few words about the work."Song without Words" is the most democratic musical genre for communication and expression of feelings and emotions between people from different countries, speaking different languages, having different views on life, different traditions, age, gender and culture. But it is music, and it is the song that is able to successfully overcome these obstacles. That is why I turned to this genre. And to make my "address" broader and more comprehensive, I chose not just a soloist as my "instrument", but an entire mixed choir.
The first movement of the cycle "Songs without words" for a mixed choir a cappella is called "Lullaby of Angels". I wrote it under the deep impression of one specific event. On June 21, 2022, in Lviv, Ivanka Krypіakevych-Dymyd - the mother of the Ukrainian soldier Artemіі Dymyd, who died at the hands of the russian occupiers - sang a sweet lullaby to her son, accompanying him to his last journey during the funeral...
"Lullaby of Angels" is my personal "last lullaby" and my personal boundless gratitude to all our Ukrainian Heroes who gave their lives for the Independence of Ukraine in the fight against the russian aggressor.
The second movement of the cycle - "Dance of the Spring Wind" - a spectacular virtuoso work, which uses various techniques of musical "parlando". This is the music of hope, the music of Light, the music of Joy and our VICTORY, in which I am absolutely and without a doubt sure.
Performance of my work "Come, Holy Spirit" for mixed choir a cappella.

I have published my first UX/UI design project on Behance, a platform for professional designers!
This is a very exciting and joyful moment for me! The project is called "HarmoniaSpace", and it is a web service for those interested in spiritual self-development and rejuvenation through meditative practices and relaxation.
As a musician, mandala-weaving artist, and runologist, I have long wanted to create a resource that would combine my piano improvisations for meditation, my handmade mandalas, and a rune oracle that could provide guidance and answers to important questions.
The pursuit of spiritual growth has always been at the core of my life journey. Meditation, yoga, energy practices, aura perception, "third eye" techniques, lucid dreaming, esotericism, and runology have been my long-time passions. They have shaped my worldview and deepened my understanding of the profound connection each of us has with our inner essence.
Recently, I began studying UX/UI design, and this became the driving force behind bringing this idea to life – creating a platform that unites all these themes into one harmonious space.
Visit my page! I will be immensely grateful for your likes and support!

Performance of my work "Trisagion" in Canada!
On March 8th, in Canada, the wonderful women's choir Lady Cove, conducted by Kellie Walsh, held a concert dedicated to International Women’s Day. I am incredibly happy that among other pieces, my composition "Trisagion" on spiritual texts was also performed as part of the program.
My creative connection with this choir began many years ago when Kellie discovered me through social media, expressing interest in performing my piece "Otherworldly Games", set to the poetry of Olena Stepanenko. Later, the choir participated in the "Singing for Ukraine" project, where they, along with ten other leading choirs from the US and Canada, commissioned a piece from me for a treble choir. That piece was "The Song", based on the poetry of Lesia Ukrainka. And now, our collaboration continues.
I am endlessly grateful to Kellie, the incredible choir members, and Alla Melnychuk - a native of Kharkiv who helped with learning the Ukrainian text - for their support of Ukraine and their dedication to singing in Ukrainian! 💙💛
I heartily congratulate musicologist Iryna Tukova on the publication of her article!

I have another incredibly important and exciting piece of news to share!
Friends!I have another incredibly important and exciting piece of news to share! Recently, another one of my choral works, "Holy God" ("Trisagion"), for treble choir a cappella and solo violin, was published by Hinshaw Music in the USA. This became possible thanks to the outstanding American choral conductor Pearl Shangkuan, who was the first performer of this piece and is also the head of Hinshaw Music.
Here’s the story behind this composition. A couple of months after the start of russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, Pearl reached out to me with a request to compose a piece intended for a very significant event - the American Choral Directors Association American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Conference, which was to be held in Cincinnati. The purpose of inviting a Ukrainian composer to collaborate was to express support for Ukraine and its people in our struggle. I was deeply moved by this proposal and composed the piece in just a few hours.
This was my first composition created after the beginning of russia’s brutal, invasive, and murderous war against Ukraine. That is why my choice to turn to the canonical text of one of Christianity’s most essential prayers was no coincidence. The core idea of the piece is a prayer to God to save and protect the people of Ukraine from the russian invaders, from war, and from death.
There were many "firsts" associated with this work:It was my first commissioned work for the USA.It was my first piece to be performed by an Honorary choir of 300(!) singers - students from music institutions across the U.S., carefully selected from nearly 5,000 applicants. It was my first trip to the USA as a composer, not as a pianist. And for the first time, I felt such immense support as a representative of my heroic country.
The choir of girls welcomed me with incredible warmth, and the audience in the concert hall greeted both me and my piece with a standing ovation and prolonged applause. It was a moment I will never forget.
I am endlessly grateful to Pearl, the singers, and everyone involved in the organization and realization of this project!
I am truly happy that Ukrainian choral music is becoming more accessible to the world and winning the hearts of performers and listeners alike.
For those interested, the score is available for purchase on the official Hinshaw Music website - link is here.

It is an immense joy to receive such heartfelt feedback from performers!
I’m infinitely grateful to the student ensemble South Bend Youth Symphony Orchestras and their Music Director and Conductor Robert W. Boardman, for their incredibly deep interpretation of my orchestral piece “Go Where the Wind Takes You”, inspired by the poetry of Olena Stepanenko.
I believe composers go through all seven circles of creative hell in the process of writing music for one true reason - so that their "musical child" may bring joy and satisfaction to listeners, make them reflect, and awaken a desire to feel, to empathize, and to live through each musical moment with their heart.

A new book about Ukrainian Christmas musical traditions has been published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing!
I am incredibly proud of the opportunity to be among the famous names of Ukrainian composers, whose music is presented in this fundamental anthology!
This is the fundamental work of a famous American choir conductor and researcher of choral art. Marika Kuzma is Ukrainian by origin, and she does a lot to make the world learn about the rich culture of Ukraine - from the time of our ancestors to the present.
The book is called "Carols of Birds, Bells, and Sacred Hymns from Ukraine: An Anthology and Cultural Companion" and is currently available for purchase at this link:
https://www.cambridgescholars.com/product/978-1-0364-0513-7
Thank you very much, dear Marika, for your work, for the honor of being a part of your research, and for everything you do for Ukraine and Ukrainians!
Some initial reviews from American Musicians and Historian:
"Marika Kuzma’s work is invaluable for any conductor, singer or musicologist interested in the rich heritage of Ukrainian choral music. The recent horrendous invasion of Ukraine has given heightened urgency to the study and promulgation of Ukrainian culture. Marika’s comprehensive anthology and passionate scholarship shines a bright light on the vital choral tradition in Ukraine and makes it accessible to choirs, conductors and music lovers around the world.” - Grant Gershon, Grammy Award Winning Artistic Director—Los Angeles Master Chorale
"Marika Kuzma's 'Carols of Birds, Bells, and Sacred Hymns' provides an extraordinary introduction to Ukrainian Christmas carols, offering an all-embracing understanding of their profound cultural significance. Navigating the complex history of this resilient music, Kuzma's thorough scholarship and deep affection for the traditions and people it represents shine through. This volume is a treasure trove for choral conductors and singers, destined to become both a classic reference and a cherished collection for exploration and performance. Under Kuzma's expert guidance, I feel that I have been gifted with a body of work that I had only a passing awareness of. These carols and hymn settings embody an inner soulfulness that deeply moved me." - Craig Hella Johnson, Artistic Director, Conspirare Music Director, Cincinnati Vocal Arts Ensemble, Artist in Residence, Texas State
"There are more treasures in Ukrainian musical culture than the Carol of the Bells, demonstrates Marika Kuzma in this groundbreaking anthology of Ukrainian choral heritage. A unique book that one can not only read but also sing."

Thanks to everyone who attended my webinars on graphology, physiognomy and color psychology!
These three directions are basic in the visual psychodiagnosis of a person and provide answers to questions about understanding the character and behavior of any individual.
Communication was interesting, pleasant and very useful for me, because I tried myself as a lecturer on similar topics for the first time. It was an incredible experience, because until this day I had only made the psychoanalysis of individual personalities by private orders)).
I sincerely grateful to Nataliia Marchenko, the main generator of the idea of these three webinars, as well as the DAN.IT education school for its excellent organization, support and implementation!
I hope that this information will be useful to everyone who strives for self-improvement and self-development! You can watch all three lectures recorded on the YouTube channel using these links.

Dear friends! Finally, I can share with you the audio recording of the premiere performance of my work "Go where the wind takes you..." for symphony orchestra based on the poetry of Olena Stepanenko.

Ukraine in the Eurovision final!
Ukraine in the Eurovision final! From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate our Ukrainian duet and the entire team with such a significant creative result and a powerful performance!
I especially congratulate and rejoice for Jerry Heil - my former student in the specialty at the National Music Academy of Ukraine - Yana Shemayeva!
During our creative communication, Yana showed herself to be an incredibly talented, purposeful and hardworking student. Before that, she brilliantly graduated from the conducting and choral faculty of the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music named after R. M. Glier, was a regular member of the girls' choir of the academy under the direction of our outstanding choirmaster Halyna Lukivna Horbatenko, and a performer of many premieres of my works, which I created just for this choir. In a very short period of time, she prepared for admission to the music academy and brilliantly passed the entrance exams for the department of composition with "first number", presenting her work for choir and orchestra and a number of chamber instrumental and vocal works. It so happened that Yana chose the path of popular music, not academic, but I believe that she was absolutely right.
Today I will not repost the video from the performance at the Eurovision Song Contest, but I will share another video from my creative archive - the performance of my work "Gloria Patri" by the girls' choir of the Glyer State Academy of Music under the direction of Halyna Horbatenko at the international competition in Tolosa (Spain). Yana sings in the top row, fourth from the left))).
I sincerely wish our girls victory at the competition in the Name and Glory of our state! I also sincerely congratulate my colleagues - Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music named after R. M. Glier and Yulia Shalkevych on the success of their former student! Let's cheer on!))

I am happy that my monumental forty-minute work Cantata-mystery "Lullabies of the Reed" will be performed soon!
Dear friends! I glad to invite you to the concert!
My enthusiasm and my gratitude know no bounds! I am happy that my monumental forty-minute work Cantata-mystery "Lullabies of the Reed" for soloists, mixed choir and symphony orchestra based on Olena Stepanenko's poem was given the opportunity to be performed by such outstanding performers on the main stage of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine and on such a significant day for all Ukrainians - the day of the second anniversary of the beginning of full-scale hostilities of the russian aggressor against the Ukrainian people. Special thanks to dear Dmytro Radyk for the desire and suggestion to extend the stage life of one of my largest works! And I am also very happy that the brilliant poetry of my friend Olena Stepanenko, who is my constant and bottomless source of inspiration, and to whose lyrics I wrote this music, will once again be heard by the public! I wish my country VICTORY! Glory and low bow to her Heroes! Light and Eternal Memory to all Ukrainian victims of this bloody war...
February 24, 2024 is the second anniversary of the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine. Two years of the bitterest losses. Two years of the most terrible experiences. Two years of struggle for the right to live on their land. Two years of indomitability of the Ukrainian nation.
"Several centuries ago, Blaise Pascal called man a reed capable of thinking. Bearing in mind the fragility and fluidity of his life, his loneliness before the universe, his fear of death, his defenselessness before love. Paraphrasing the French thinker, we can say that a person is a reed pipe near the mouth of God, on which He plays his lullabies.
This performance is dedicated to the memory of Ukrainians who died in the bloody war, to the memory of Ukrainian defenders who fell on the battlefield, to the memory of innocent Ukrainian civilians killed by russian terror. It is dedicated to everyone who, despite all the horrors of war, continues to live, defend the Motherland, work for the good of their native land, create Ukrainian culture, believe in victory and a happy future for Ukraine.

Dear friends! I'm happy to share with you a video of the world premiere of my piece "Prayer" for mixed choir a cappella!
Dear friends!
I am happy to share with you a video from the concert at which the world premiere of my piece "The Prayer" for mixed choir a cappella and percussion instruments took place. The piece was commissioned to me in October 2023 by Mr. Davide Fior, a Swiss conductor and leader of several choral groups - Opernkollektiv Zürich, СoncertoVocale.ch, Сantori contenti Zug, and Gruppo Vocale Cantemus. The concert took place on February 5, 2023 in the city of Lugano (Italy). I sincerely thank and wish great success to conductor Davide Fior, soloist Rebekka Maeder and artists of both choirs who were involved in the performance of my music! It was especially touching for me that foreigners sang and wanted to sing in the Ukrainian language.
I am proud of the opportunity to represent Ukrainian culture in the world!
Joy, desolation, complete exhaustion, hope and great responsibility...
One of the happiest moments in a composer's life is the moment when you draw the last bar at the end of a large piece you just finished.
"Stabat Mater" for mixed choir a cappella on the text of the Roman Catholic hymn, the author of which is considered to be the 13th century Italian poet Jacopone Da Todi, commissioned by "Art Renaissance Initiative by Michel Sarda & Scott Youngs".
The "Stabat Mater" is a 13th-century Christian hymn to Virgin Mary that portrays her suffering as Jesus Christ's mother during his crucifixion.
At the customer's request, which I supported with all my heart, my new half-hour work is dedicated to Ukrainian mothers who lost their children due to the war started by russia against Ukraine.
The premieres of the work are planned in the state of Arizona (USA) and at the solemn inauguration of the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris. Happy stage fate to you, my new creation!
